| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
1. Probably, it's unlikely we are the only ones living in the universe.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
2. I think we should, but only if we recieve a message, and that is what we're looking for, aren't we? Then I think we should send information about our society.
Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?
3. Finding EBEs! (Extraterrestrial Biological Enteties) The project is cool. But transmitting units to other user should be possible again. I now have two S@NL TheFox usernames with both a lot of completed units. And an old TheFox from a few years ago.
