Profile: Morris Freeman

Personal background
I am a 52 year old Australian, working for the past 10 years in Bangkok, Thailand.

I previously worked for the International Civil Aviation Organisation and before that the Australian Air Traffic Services Administration, now known as Air Services Australia.

In the 1980's I was involved with many of the NASA Space Shuttle launches and became interested in space travel, the heavens, the universe and SETI as a result.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI because I believe it is a worthwhile project to support, even in just such a small way. Also the idea of distributed computing, really pioneered by the SETI team, deserves support. I believe the SETO team have done a marvellous job in this pioneering field and have no real suggestions to improve the project except wish the team the best of luck.
