| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I recently began surveying the heavens with my modest Celestron SCT 9.25 inch. I have complete faith that, given the wonderous nature of the universe, we are not alone. I am honored that I can contribure some small help in locating a celestial neighbor. SETI is more important than most of my peers can realize. We need contact with our brothers in the universe for the betterment of our species. We have become too focused with the petty conflicts that plague our planet; we need to see that life is not Earth centered. Best wishes and clear skys...
