Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
About extraterrestrial life, we can be sure that life exists, if our life come from an asteroid, this asteroid come from somewhere where the life exists or existed. And space is so infinite... It's impossible to say we're the only planet to have life, how could we imagine just one living planet on about 10xxxxxx planets constituing our universe?
Due to the size of Universe, I can't say when we'll discover life in it. We have just discovered 1% of the entire Universe !
But I don't think sending messages is useful, because with that we suppose that they have abilities to receipt these messages, and to decrypt these ones ! i think life is actually a primitive one, biological one, but with the same way as on Earth...
But I run Seti@home, for a couple of years. Even if i don't think that the space life can reply to us, we must try everything to find it, and I find great to answer help to users like us. We contribute to make progress the Science, and as we don't know now how outer life is, we must try what we have to make a contact...

PS : Sorry for english mystakes !
