Profile: Zoltak

Personal background
I am from near Detroit, Michigan, although I was born in near Traverse City, Michigan. I attended Michigan State University where I received a BA in Telecommunication in May of 2001. I focused on video production and toyed in multimedia, and radio. I became a teaching assistant to an advanced video course my last semester.

I have worked a variety of jobs, from a cashier at Rite Aid, to a technical writer for Ford, to an elementary school computer teacher, and now to an IT manager for a school district as well as management at a video game store.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I became interested in SETI about February, 2000. A friend of mine who is an astro-physics major asked if I had heard about SETI and where to download the client.

I run SETI to help find the life that is most likely out there somewhere. It would be an awful waste if only this planet was inhabitable in the whole universe.
