Profile: Cyberseye

Personal background
Hello,
I'm a 39 yr. old divorced man living in the state of Indiana. I run a small buisness called Cyberseye Technology. We currently specialize in hidden surviellence, and stealth monitoring.(Got a spouse or girlfriend you want to know more about :-) I have a 12 yr. old son who I hope will keep an open mind as I do about the universe.Oh yea an American Pit bull dog who is a great companion. Don't let the stereotype fool you.
I also read alot and Stephen Hawking is by far my favorite writer. He is our modern day Einstien. I have read his books several times and learn something new each reading. If you haven't picked up one of his books I highly suggest reading "A brief history of Time" or any of his books they are all VERY thought provoking. If you enjoy the concept of SETI as I'm sure you do then you'll love Stepen Hawkings writings.
So without going into a lengthy discussion about me :-) I'll close and spare you the agony :-).
Take Care and keep looking up.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I could write for days about my beliefs pertaining to life in the universe. Not the possibilities of life but “LIFE”. I have read so many books with many different theories but it all comes back to our lack of knowledge. It's a matter of our evolving technology. As soon as our knowledge satisfies our curiosity, we will have tamed the universe. As far as our civilizations amount of time in the big picture we have been here but just a second. What I would give if I could see our species 100,000 years from now. The knowledge we will have. The discoveries that will have been made. It is all out there, and possibly, right here, we just do not have the answers as to how to obtain it. There is no doubt in my mind that life does exist elsewhere. It may be in forms or even other dimensions that we cannot comprehend "YET". However, man is such a curious creature that we will not be satisfied until we knows the answers. It seems that our whole existence is a quest for knowledge. So will there come a time when we will know all there is to know? Just look at how far we have came in the last 50 years. Now think about what advances we will have made in 100,000 years. What happens when we have answered all the questions? Is knowledge infinite like the universe? As long as there is something beyond our grasp, we will always ask questions. Therefore, with an infinite universe we will always ask what is beyond the next star, the next galaxy, the next dimension. Maybe we are part of something that is being controlled or manipulated by an intelligence that is as vast as the universe. Let us just hope that this God as we call him is kind. Let us hope he will enlighten us to the answers someday. I would hate to think when this existence is over, it's just over. I would rather like to think that this presence in this dimension is just a necessary step toward fulfilling our quest for the answer to the question "Why are we here".
