| Yikes! Do I really have to tell ya guys about myself? ;-P I'd rather stay as a mystery, but I guess I am going to let you know that I am native finnish, 26, 6'4" (194 cm) and any information about my weight has been classified by the finnish military intelligence... I am studying computer sciences in western Finland. What comes to my hobbies, then I am just a creative kind of guy, composing music and writing poetry etc. Yeah, I love watching movies too. I am not just lacking the good looks (look at the pic, I am just sooo... drunk), but also the sense of humor ;-P |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
|---|
I am running SETI@Home on my computer(s), because I want to donate something to the science, and since I need my kidneys and nobody wants to even think about having my brain, this is the way I can achieve my goal. Besides, that's one cool screensaver, dudes!
What comes to the possibility of ET life, I believe that the current technological level of the human race is not enough to catch any communications, but there are probably zillions of different races and forms of life out there. Well, chase is better than catch ;-P If humans wanted to transmit a beacon, then I suggest we would send something in chinese - it's the most common language on Earth, so the aliens are probably studying it as well. |
