I am 22, am currently living in South Australia. Lived in New South Wales for the majority of my youth till last year. Took an opportunity to go see a bit more of this great country and am thourghly enjoying it. I enjoy hiking in the mountains and by the beach and am into sci-fi of many kinds be it Star Wars, Star Trek, Red Dwarf. it's all good. (more sci-fi on telly would be awesome).
I have never been out of Australia but have plans to hopefully see a few of the sights around the world like the USA, England, Germany, France oh, and New Zealand. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Given the fact that NASA and the Hubble Telescope bring us back pictures of Far Away galaxies deep into space it's quite possible that there is someone (or something) out there that know's we're here and is just waiting and watching.
I have only had Seti@Home running for a short while but it has already inspired one major upgrade for my PC and another is in the planning stages. I run Seti@Home for the reason that I would rather my spare CPU cycles go to something that's gonna benefit all of mankind and have that little bit more help to the cause than just sitting there idle, dull and boring. |
