Personal background
My name is Jonathan and I'm a 3nd year college student at Lawrence University in Appleton WI studying History. I keep myself busy with my electronic music. I am producing my own tracks as well as DJing in a band called 3:30 Five. I also play Ultimate Frisbee here at school. Watch the skies!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well, I find it highly unlikely that the universe could contain billions and billions of stars and planets and have only one planet with life on it. So, yes, I think it very probable that other life forms exist in the universe. At what stage of development those life forms are at is anyone's guess. There are probably others who have reached a Stage 2 or higher civilization in some corner of the Universe. When we'll meet out interstellar brothers, well, I have no clue. But hopefully we'll meet 'em someday.
