| I'm a 22 Year Old Male Living in Michigan. I am currently receiving an education at the Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor. On my off-days, I am online searching the internet, chatting in various chat rooms, while running the seti program in the background. My hobbies are a variety of clubs on the internet, maintaining my website, playing pool, bowling, going to arcades, and hanging out with my friends. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

For the first question, I DO believe there is life out there in space. I believe that there is a good amount of details that proves it. I believe that humans may or may not find it if and when there are landings on the planets that revolve around our solar system, and there may be some outside our it, if and when we are able to go out that far. As for the date when it will happen to me is still unknown at this time.
The second question is a good one because I had to think about it for some time. For one reason is that if there is life out in the universe, it would be a good chance to 'extend our hand' and maybe show a sign of good faith and trust. As to the information to be sent, I would probably think that some of the things to be sent is some of the ideas that we had or will have when and if the time to transmit the beacon, and maybe some of the different items that we share.
The third question is also another good one that I thought of an answer quickly. I run SETI@home because I think it is a good program for us to use and to share the information we happen to discover. My views of the project is the same, a good program which is fun to run. There have been different times that I would just sit at my computer and watch the different searches run. To me, the program is good as it is, and if there is anything that I think would make it better, believe me, I would make a few suggestions. But at this time, I believe that it is working very well.
I hope that my profile fits with the rest of the ones on the website, and I hope that everyone else has some of the same thoughts and ideas as I do. Thank you very much.
