Personal background
I am retired and live in Richland, Washington. I was involved with programming computers for 40 years. I liked to find what was broken the best.

For hobbies, I like to read and photograph where I have visited. I purchased a Canon Digital Rebel in 2004. I have a Canon 7e but have not used it since I purchased the Rebel. I like being able to load a memory module onto my computer in just minutes instead of the hours required to scan photos of interest. The biggest improvment is no more dust spots.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been running Setiathome for a long time. It was something I believed in and could also contribute to. When I finally quit running Seti Classic, I had processed 31010 wu's. I didn't jump into Boinc very quickly. It wouldn't run my way on my computers. That only occured very recently.

With the recent connection problems, I decided to start running Predictor@home. So, my time on the Windows systems are split 50/50 between Seti and Predictor.
