| I am originally from Vienna, Austria. The beautiest capital I ever seen. I work as a technical engineer in a support- and remotecenter of a communication company. Computers have been my hobby since I was 10 and what kind of boy I am, when I am not looking for ET? |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Is there extraterrestrial life? Certainly. Will we discover it in my lifetime? Hopefully. Will we meet them face-to-face in my lifetime? Probably not. I'd like to be more optimistic, but even if we find the signs of an intelligent alien race, it will probably have originated from a point so far away as to be technologically impossible for us to reach within my lifetime. But, hey, who knows? As for why I run SETI@home? I'd like to be able to say I helped discover that signal that leads us into a new age. |
