Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
For our species to survive, we MUST find another spaceship (unoccupied
of course), but the best possible indicator that one even exists is to
to locate one that IS occupied. Go Seti!!!

To broadcast our existence is done at our peril, but we have been sending
semi-intelligent radio signals for over 100 years now and must appear
very bright in the radio spectrum to any civilization within 50-60
light-years. All we need now is an answering signal, even a visit.
