Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
S@H is a great program. Any way we can help the SETI program is something very significant yet viewed as a small contribution. My personal opinion is that there are other species of ETI out there, otherwise why would God have made the universe so big?

I think that making contact with ETI that is superior in knowledge could be benficial, but also very hazardous. The society is not ready to handle such a discovery or contact yet. Many world problems need to be sorted out.

I run SETI@Home because its a small but great way to contribute. Helping SETI scan the data they collect as a whole group of users is of tremendous significance though, and a large contribution to the SETI program. Hopefully, the user database of SETI users will continue to rapidly expand!
