Personal background
I am a native of Montreal, Canada, and presently reside in Florida. I am currently serving as the President and CEO for Scientific Capital Corporation, a consultant and system integration firm. I hold two US patents for the design of Braille printers which provide the visually impaired access to computer technology. I have served as a proposal reviewer consultant for the National Science Foundation, Small Business Innovative Research program.

Recently I published a novel titled ADX which touches on covert operations, biological warfare, chemical terrorism, and conspiracy. You may visit www.adxnovel.com for additional information on ADX. Unfortunately, with the world events today, ADX is frighteningly realistic, eerily accurate, and downright bone-chilling. You may find yourself looking over your shoulder and seeing conspiracy at every corner.

My hobbies include my four grandchildren, reading, writing and no arithmetic. I have a profound interest in Native American culture and science. I look forward to our first ET contact and a sincere hope they would guide (not lead) our species forward together peacefully.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have had a laymen interest in the cosmos as far back as I can remember. My interest peaked when Dr. Carl Sagan was able to present the cosmos in an uplifting exciting way with the television series, Cosmos. The series still provides me with enjoyable references to so many inquires I have.

My first contact with the SETI program was when I had the opportunity some years ago to visit and to have a VIP tour of Aricibo facilities. Why the VIP tour? Only reason I can think of was showing security my Planetary Membership card. That tour opened up many questions in my mind as to who is out there. Was there a chance that ET existed? I only had to lay down in my backyard on a clear night, look up at the sky to have that question answered. Yes indeed, I believe they are there and we will soon discover their signal. When we do it will be the most profound discovery causing our species to look at each other, humbly, reaching out and grasping our neighbors hand and finally admitting we are not alone. Is there danger here? No! There seems to be more danger perpetrated by our own species then I believe would come from a civilization that had the ability to contact us. No need to send beacons. We have been sending beacons for a long time and to no avail. Let’s listen for them. Their signal will be clean, clear and precise. We will understand! This is why I run SETI…
