Currently, I run technology organizations and data centers for high-volume, high transaction websites. Hobbies include reading, astronomy (duh), movies, martial arts, bowling, etc. |

I believe that extraterrestrial life exists and that SETI is the second best possibility of discovering it. The best possibility is in Them discovering Us...
The setiathome project has been an ingenious way to make use of "lazy cycles" on millions of systems all over the world. Something about that appeals to me on lots of levels.
I run SETI@home because it's simply cool, because I believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial life, and because checking stats and work units satisfies my latent OCD side. |
