| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, i do think extraterrestrial life exist. We will probably discover it within 100 years, probably by radio communication of some type. The benifits could be extange in knowlege technology, the danger could be in religous feud/beliefs.
2. Humans should transmit a becon for other to find. We should send a solar system discription/image and an a few simple math equations and Einstien's theories.
3. I run seti@home on my server because I just got shut down from running a personal webserver and now I want to make use of the spare computer. I think this a good project for people who leave computers on for an extended period of time. |
