| I have been a Seti@home user since August 23, 1999 and switched to SetiBOINC on October 15, 2005. When I was in elementary school, I read a story about how by 1996 we would have colonies on the moon. I remember adding up how old I would be in 1996 and got very exited when I realized I'd be 21 years old! Old enough to do whatever I wanted. That day I decided that I would move to the moon on my 21st birthday. Well, obviously I didn't get to move to the moon. I have been very disapointed with mankinds lack of progress reaching out to the stars. Running a seti client makes me feel like I am participating in a small way towards my goal of living on the moon. |
