In the 60's we grew while the brave flew

And reached for them and got to the Moon

In '78 they lit the way, drifting on the Green

And on down the Colorado - lux at conflux

On through the years some came, some went

Halley, Hyakutake and Hale-Bopp as high lights

Today we still dream of communing with the stars

In hope that our hopes will never die
