Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
- For sure - endless benefits, gaining knowledge and the chance to study new species and life forms, also comes with endless dangers, but so does all exploration of any form.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
- No - i beleve we should find new life forms by US finding them, not them finding us, i dont like the idea of attracting other unknown life forms to our planet, when we do not have the intelligence or technology to equal them, and hence not their power.
Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?
- I run it because basically it gives my cpu something to do when my pc is idle, and it does no harm - so why not ?
