| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, ET life exists and SETI will show the doubting Thomas`s that you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.
Benefits - Knowing that we are not the only creation of God, and that the reaction of many that believe we are the only "intelligent" beings in the galaxy.
Dangers - The military taking charge of any "First Contact".
2. Yes, a beacon should be built that is powerful enough to reach other systems within our lifetimes. Why not on the ISS ?
It should send peacful images of the Earth and it`s inhabitants.
3. Because I believe we must try to make contact with any possible civilisation that exists out there.
Encourage more schools to run the screensaver. |
