I am an ice hockey goalie who lives in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. I also have a great interest with science fiction, and fantasy, which eventually led me to this project (albeit with some help from Jody Foster's "Contact" movie character).
Why do you run SETI@home?
Would it be to trite to paraphrase a Star Trek quotation? It would, but I will!!
In hopes of "boldly going where no man has gone before."
What are your views about the project?
The Dene People of Northern Canada have a history of communication with the Star People, as do many other cultures of the world. These beliefs have been nearly erased by the monolithic religions that have come to dominate theology of this planet today. Are these beliefs, related through oral history, in fact distorted by the telling: or are they a truth not believed by 'modern' homo sapiens? |
