I live in Portland, Oregon of the United States with my wife and my son (the one I'm holding in the picture). I've lived in Portland for all of my 38 years except for five months back in 1987 when I lived near Wenatchee Washington working in an apple orchard. Now I'm a machinist, manufacturing and modifying precision parts mostly for high-tech and aerospace companies.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I'm participating in SETI because I'm hoping to get hooked up with a beautiful alien women. Actually, to contribute computing time to help the scientists and researchers to learn more about the earth and universe. I'm also running other BOINC projects, Einstien@Home, and ProtienPreditor@Home.
The universe is full of life, with numerous earth like planets widely scattered throughout the cosmos. But they are at such enormous distances from us that I doubt we will be able to detect them in the physical realm of the universe. Here in the physical universe we are severely limited, you could say trapped, and subject to the strong physical forces of the universe including time, space, gravity, etc....... but when we each pass into the mental, spiritual realm when our physical body dies then, if God willing, we'll be free and will be able to explore the universe beyond what we could imagine.
