I grew up in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and studied at the University of Natal. I hold degrees in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry. Professional memberships include the Plastics Institute of Southern Africa (PISA) and the Oil and Color Chemist's Association (OCCA). I currently reside in Australia where I have been since 2007.
