Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that logic alone tells us that something or someone is out there. With the size of the universe you would have to seriously want to NOT belive to think that we are alone. I don't know if we will find intelligent life anytime soon but anything I can do to help make the search faster I will. Just by running a program in the background of my PC helps and every time one person completes a work unit we are that much closer to one of the single most biggest event in Human history. It will happen, it's just a matter of when.
One person makes a difference and my donation of time is for the betterment of Mankind. We are all special, lets act like it and work togeather with projects like this and in our everyday lives in general.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
