Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
With hundreds of billions of stars in our galaxy and tens of billions of galaxies in the universe the ods are overwhelming for there to be other civilisations out there. Even if life is a freak occurance it seems hard to deny that that freak chance has only happened once in our universe. So I'm convinced thst other forms of life exist but it is very unlikely we will find or even detect them for a long time. But it's worth a try anyhow :) Check out my pics of the telescope that collects seti data in the southern hemisphere at http://members.fortunecity.com/jeffstanger/thedish.html[/url]
Cheers,
Jeff ;)
