Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think there msut be life out there. Who are we to say it doesn't. The Discovery of ET life would be a big step, but I'm uncertain as to what effect it could have on us.

2. Difficult to say. The possibilities are endless as to what could result in us doing so. We could attract frinedly Alien, or as in the big ID4 blockbuster, alert hostile aleins to our existence. If we do send a beacon, we should plainly state our peacefull intentions, but put a side note saying that we can defend oursleves. But thew overall message should be WE ARE PEACEFULL, as I'm sure it is.

3. I'm a big Sci-Fi buff, and Seti@home suite me fine. I beleive in what the programme is doing, allowing everyone the chance to be a part of it.
