Hi
My name is Ark and I'm from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I used to explore the Canadian bush for minerals but got tired of working for peanuts. I don't do much for a living at the moment, mainly I eat, sleep, watch TV and play on my computer. I'm an avid collector of rocks and minerals. I'm also a fan of worldbeat and reggae music, generally, anything that swings. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI in the hopes of finding intelligent life somewhere in the universe (because there certainly isn't much on this Earth). Also hoping to find a mate. Most of the females I know are alien enough anyway. I'd gladly participate in any experimental sex (er, I mean sex experiments) that aliens might want to conduct, but with my luck, they'll be androgenous.
If we send any information in a beacon, I think it should contain a warning that we're a dangerous species with little regard for life or environment. The symbol for biohazard is probably what we should transmit.
And one of the simplest reasons I run SETI: It looks cool. |
