Personal background
Greetings Terrans!

My name is Þorgils Völundarson and I come from the sixth millionth planet to the left (next planet to the complaint department planet). My apperance is of a 27 years old earthling (2001) but my real age is 1890 terran years. I work as a programmer for the Icelandic Cancer Registry where I pretend to be an expert on RDB's and OO programming. Of cource you terran fools think that this technology is so cleaver but believe me where I come from it's sooo yesterday.

I like to travel that's why I´m spending my summer vacation here on earth the next 50 to 60 years
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I think extraterrestrial life exists? Of course. I'm a living proof of it. Or in my case you terrans are. When will you discover it? Not any time soon. I mean we've left countless clues and you always dismiss them as weather balloons. Of course we're not going to say hi, my name is... ...here is a proof. Then you would want to investigate us, probe us and prod and is that what we'd really like? I think NOT. Now some of you who will perhaps read this might think: "but you are saying that you're an alien so you are giving yourself away". But think again. Everyone who will read this will think: "is he trying to be funny? Well he's not suxceding".

About the dangers. The Narglaxians once thought of taking over the world but found terrans much to revolting to be slaves so they decided not to. And since the Narglaxians, the biggest trash in the univerce, didn´t want earth then nobody would stoop so low. Ergo, no danger. I´m only here because I love sushi.

Please do transmit beacons. The jokes that spin off of it on the intergalactic chat are so funny. I remember especially the ones about voyager oh my god they were funny. Suggestions on information: Anything with George W. Bush, he's hilarius.

I run SETI@home because it's blinking and constantly changing screen saver makes it look like I'm working hard on something while I'm a sleep in my office. I really like this program for the reasons I've listed above but if you could make your screen saver look like a rapid developement tool I would appreciate it alot.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.
