Hi, My name is Roland,
I’m originally from Denmark but I’m a Swedish citizen, now living in Maryland, USA. And Lisa is my fiancee. She is originally from Elkins, WV. We are doing it together. We are running it on hers as well as my computer. I saw SETI on a computer and thought it was ’cool’. I downloaded it and now we are running it. We have (P4 3.46GHz with HyperTreading and 512MB ram, P4 3.0GHz with HyperTreading and 512MB of ram and a P3 654MHz, 256MB of ram and a iMac 350MHz and 128MB of RAM.) Some is running SETI and some is running Folding.
We only downloaded the SETI program on 1 Feb. 2003. We wish we had found it earlier. And the Folding we started Agust 2004.
I started "the Team!!" both for BOINC (# 113944) and Folding (# 40316) We are a International Team!! WE have our own forum and you are welcome to join us.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I defiantly believe in life out there. With billions upon billions of suns and even more planets, there has to be life out there!! If you are using the formula that the National Space Museum in Washington DC, USA is using, that formula suggest that there has to be over 100 million planets that have intelligent life. Whoa!!! There are many ET’s whom are going to phone home…. LOL.
But I do not believe in green small men that are kidnapping people out in the boonies. I believe that intelligent life traveling light-years would not do that. I believe that he/she/it would come forward and present them-selves.
I’m writing this 2-days after the Columbia accident. My thoughts are going out to all the families. My deepest condolences go out to you, and all astronauts whom have lost their life and to thier friends and family!! We love you all and we are keeping you in our hearts.
To all astronauts and cosmonauts – GREAT JOB, and keep it up!!!
And to all the people who are working in the space program ‘GOD BLESS YOU ALL’ and good luck.
