Personal background
Hi...
I'm from the top-left of the U.S. Almost Canada, almost the ocean, but not quite. There's snow here, and I wrote this on March 22, 2002. No joke.

Anyway, I play videogames. All sorts, from all age groups. From Sonic and Mario to Unreal Tournament and Half-Life to Wolfenstien to Final Fantasy to whatever. I like most of them. I also make music. I don't have a band, but I use synthesizer sorts of things. I do pretty much what Moby does, only I think I do it better. I may have just started a week ago, but I think I'm doing pretty darn good.

I'm also making a few levels for Unreal Tournament. I'm going to combine my two skills, and make levels packaged with music for them. Clever, eh?

Not really. But if you want something funny, here's a quote out of context:

"Hey, this isn't lemonaide!"

Okay, so that wasn't really funny. Maybe I'm just decieving myself, thinking I'm interesting, but having people say, "Gee, what a boring, self-centered jerk," or something like that. I should just die.

No, I won't. Sorry for making you worry. I should stop doing that.

Oh, if you want, here's my web address. With my website, you know?

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
If the universe is really infinite, like some people used to believe, but not anymore, since people seem to change their minds a lot in science, those crazy people. Oh, wait, it would be impossible for the universe to be infinite. Think: if it was, wouldn't there have to be aliens?
Then, wouldn't there be some capable of reaching us?
Then, wouldn't there have to be some that want to?
And, they would, because they want to, and they will, and have.
So, the universe isn't infinite.

But, even with our not-infinite universe, there probably is alien life out there.

Our encounter will probably be one of three scenarios:

1. The alien life is moss, or creatures at about the level of monkeys. In this case, the danger of war is very low. (Damn that agressive territorrial moss!)

2. The alien life is equal to or near our intelligence. In this case, we can either try to be peaceful, or try desperately to protect ourselves from them as they plan a premature war on our planet. This case isn't likely, so we probably won't have to worry about it.

3. The alien life is greatly superior to our intelligence. In this case, we wouln't find them; they would find us. In which case, they would be like, "Hey, some more monkey-like things! These are great, huh?" And then they would probably take some of us home as souviniers. We would then get really angry, and declare a hopless war. This case is also very unlikely, so we can all relax in the knowledge that we will probably only find moss and monkey-things.
