Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes, as it has been said before it would be a wast of space if we were the only ones here. I think we will discover ET using SETI@home or some other way that links several computers together, it is the fastest way to process the data, PC are faster than the old main frames that use to do this. I do fear that we may not like what we find or that we disrupt an ET and change it's life course for our benifit.

2. Yes, as stated before, we might not like what we find or what finds us but the benifits could outway the bad side effects.

3. I don't use my computer that much so this is a great way to let it's power be used for something good. I think the linking of all the PC's (that includes you Mac users, their still a personal computer) is the only way to find the needle in the haystack. I would like to see more of what has been done with the data we have crunched.
