Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? YES. Its a mathematical certainty. The benefits and dangers are to numerous to list here.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? That would be rather redundant! We stated transmitting information to ET with the first Marconi's!
Why do you run SETI@home? Just want to do my part for Science. Most people do not have a opportunity do contribute to science, but SETI@HOME give them that chance.
Any suggestions? A nice and easy clustering software built in to SETI@HOME. for us that have more then one computer running can admin there accounts with ease with out all that CMD BS. A built in GUI based Cluster admin would make it faster and easer to set up a MS Group to work units. 90% of the computer world is GUI based. And most of that is Windows/ Fast and easy is what people want!
