Personal background
I haved loved Saabs since 1979 when I used to go past a Saab showroom on my way to college in Manchester. There was a Saab 900 Turbo on a rotating stand that just exuded quality and power. Twenty years later a friend bought an old 900 convertible and it still looked superb with the top down so I decided that when I could afford one, I was going to have one. I bought a 93 Aero convertible two years ago and since then have never enjoyed driving so much.

Oooops, just totalled it driving to work. BUGGER!!!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
When you take a serious look at the universe and try to come to grips with the sheer scale of things, it is beyond belief that there aren't thousands if not millions of other planets which will have some form of life on them. I am convinced that there will be some which have some form of 'intelligence' which is why I participate in the SETI@home project. Obviously, it could take hundreds of years before we detect any significant signals and even then, what could we do about them? Who knows?
