Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am quite certain that extra-terrestrial life forms exist but whether they're just organisms or actually a being, like us, I'm unsure of.
I think that extra-terrestrials would not necessarily be dangerous but instead be just like us and constantly find themselves asking the question "Are we the only life form in the universe?"
I don't think we should necessarily send out or a signal etc. this is because if there alternative life forms we will find them or vice-versa eventually through a project such as SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I like being part of a community and am curious towards space and other life forms.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
