Personal background
Whelp, I'm 21 and in college. I have dual nationality with Spain/America. Military brat, I've lived almost all of my life here in Europe due to my family moving around. I'm in Germany at the moment, going to college on a military base here.

I enjoy playing video games (on all new systems including pc) and reading manga. I enjoy Fantasy novels, and most recently podiobooks of all genres. I'm a big fan of my computers, I consider them to be the "all in one toys"
Yes I consider them toys, awesomely cool toys.

I'm afraid I'm not too intelligent about computers even though I've been using them since I was 10. I know a little html and at least I can quote my computers stats. Don't tell me to switch to linux, I'll just look at you funny and continue on.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that Aliens do exist somewhere out there.... Just not that they have ever visted earth. Supposedly the Universe is large and unending, so I find it really hard to believe that we are the only life anywhere. It would be very lonely to be the only thing in the entirety of Space wouldn't it?

I run SETI@home because a friend asked me to. Seriously. And besides that I think its a neat thing to do, what if because of all these computers working around the world we actually do find some signal? And my computer might as well be doing something since I leave it on all day and night.

Update in 2007: I barely ever used this, but like 5 months ago I got a brand new computer I use solely for gaming, and today I figured I could run seti on it, since I don't use it outside of playing games now and then.
