| Well hello there.......I'm from Richmond, Virginia on the East Coast (right coast). I repair and build home computers and setup home networks......I like working with computers, saltwater fishing, hunting, my kids and anything outdoors. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, I do think that there is extraterrestrial life. I think that we already have discovered some kind of ET but it's kept quite for fear of panic of the population. Possible benefits could be technology, medical, cures, etc........of course the danger is that they have a taste for humans! :)
2. Yes we should try to send something out for ET to find if ET hasn't already. Information sent should be about our world and the fact that it isn't perfect by no means but as a whole we are mostly good humans.
3. I run SETI because if I'm wrong and ET hasn't been discovered, maybe I will be the one who does....and I like competition (crunching). I think SETI@home is a great project and it shouldn't be stopped anytime soon or ever. |
