Hello Fellow Skywatchers!
Schmoo here, perched on a rock overlooking the sea in the beautiful principality of Monaco, waiting for ET to phone home! Apart from making the odd house music record, writing and working with gadgetry all day long, I'm also an avid astronomer - (my hero is Sir Patrick Moore) and being by the sea, we don't suffer all too badly with light pollution here. |

I run SETI because the odds are against us being alone in this universe. If we're lucky enough to receive a signal in our lifetime, perhaps this will give people enough perspective to see that we should be joined together to battle threats to humanity and our planet rather than bickering and fighting amongst ourselves.
So many people have forgotten to look at the sky at night - to 'get' that sense of wonder that we are even here at all. So many people haven't realised that all borders and frontiers are invisible from space. We're all sitting on one little rock in space, and we need to share it to survive.
Let's hope a signal comes sooner rather than later,... |
