Hi, I'm a 19yr old currently studying natural sciences at Durham university. In my free time I play a number of musical instruments, a little bit of squash and, more recently, I'm an avid yo-yoer.
I was born in Crawley, have lived in Horsham all my life, except as of this year I live term times in Durham

Why SETI?
Two reasons. Firstly, the group I'm in started a competition using the SETI software, and I am currently doing everything I possibly can to try and win.
Secondly, a facination with all things unknown. I can remember countless hours spent as a kid staring into the sky in wonder, and I came to the decision that if we're here, then why shouldn't there be others elsewhere? SETI may or may not be doomed to failure, but man has not got to where he is now by simply thinking, why bother? |
