Personal background
Hi,
My name is Jeremy and I live in Maine and am 17 years old. I have been interested in ET information for as long as I can remember. My hobbies are UFO research and vintage Volkswagens. I drive a 72 VW Super Beetle that has been fully restored by myself and others. I currently have a part time job at a fast food store.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I became interested in the Seti@Home project as soon as I found out about it. As I mentioned above, I have been interested in such projects for as long as I can remember, and have been a sky watcher for years. I believe the Seti@Home project is one of the best and most important scientific experiments of the last 100 years.

I run Seti on an old Pentium 200MMX with 48MB of ram, so I don't make a whole lot of progress. However I continue to run it with hopes that I can aid the ongoing search for ET life forms in the only way I know how, SETI@Home. The project is extremely worthwhile and there appears to be plenty of support for it.

I am undecided if ET intelligence exists, but I do find it hard to believe that in a neverending universe that there is no other kinds of life, sentient or not. The discovery of an alien life form would be the most important finding ever, and I believe would help bring mankind together for the first time.
