2. My view is simple: this endeavour requires an understanding and acceptance that full realization of SETI's far-reaching implications will not be realized for many generations to come; any expectation beyond that need not apply.
3. My best suggestion is don't lose sight of the big picture by caving to anger over downtime or outages. Frustration with the means is the enemy of the end.
