Personal background
Hi,

I am from belgium, and study in the netherlands for the moment, I am born in the year 1983 an have a strong intrest in astronomy and physics. (please excuse me for errors in speling, my native language is Dutch) I am a member of a astronomy club caled Quasar, and together with a fuew felow members I help the SETI@home project. we have a group caled JVS Quasar, so look us up. I have some other hobbys aswel, I am a sailor, and I play snooker( not as good as the profesionals, but with practice I hope to come near to that level some day in the distant future). thats about me.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home, becouse I now have a good internet conection and I am not mutch at home during the day, so lots of time for seti to run. also, I have the problem that when I am studing I sometimes can't resist the caling of the computer on my desc, so seti gives me an extra impuls not to touch it and study. but most and for all, becouse I beleve in this project. It is a verry good concept and way of thinking that we can prove the excistance of extra terestrial life out there by thinking that they, If evolved far enough, emit radio signals.
hope we find some soon, so we can lern from them.
