Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope extraterrestrial life exists. Why humans would be alone in universe ?
It's important to me to think life exists somewhere else.
I don't know when and how we will find it ; may be i won't never see it, but it's a great thing to try to find this other form of life.
Benefits will be important : it will minimize the importance of human race. We won't be alone forever. I don't want to think there could have a danger, this is not a scifi film.
I don't think we should transmit a beacon. Hazard does great things.
I run SETI@home because i believe in the fact we're not alone in universe.
It's a great project. Everyone could discover extraterrestrial life with this project. It's a chance given to humans.(I hope my english is not too bad ;-))
