about me well i'm just a happily married guy with a lovely son
i enjoy life to the fullest even when life tends to be rather shitty
i'm a real fan of science fiction ever since i started reading scifi at the age of 9
i tend to form oppinions based on facts and logical conclusions based on those facts
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
since i don't believe seti will ever discover anything mainly since i believe the most logical use of communication would be lightbased (laser etc) you might wonder why i participate
the answer is simple however even without any success an organisation like seti will teach us many things about the universe
but yes i believe intelligent life has to exist elsewhere even when the chances are slim the amount of stars is so vast it is more logical to assume there are more planets containing intelligence
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
