The one thing i like best in life is Beer and Boobies, ok the two things i like best in life are beer and boobies ........ and beer.
I think that Seti@home is great, I am very impressed, mainly because it adds another icon to my task bar, I mean if you aint got 38 little pictures next to your time thingy then why the hell have you got a computer.
I think that there needs to be a few, no three things done to Seti@home that will make it appeal to those computer having people out there that look at it and say sure it has the extra icon, the chance to be the user of the day, the thrill of the hunt in regards to having a chance to be the one who finds the aliens, why it even has a printable SETI@home Participant Certificate but besides that what’s in it for me ....... nothing.
But if the seti@home people would just give one the option to search for beer whilst searching for E.T, why then I think they would get a lot more interest in their errrr thingy what they need is a Beer@home project to run, not in competition, but in tandem with the seti@home project.

Just think, what are the chances of actually finding intelligent life out there, I estimate that it is well above 3-1, praps even as high as 4-1, yes you see what I mean, highly unlikely, but if the Beer@home option was taken onboard, why im sure that the users would find that they have an even chance or even as good as a fifty fifty chance of finding beer right in their very homes, imagine the excitement, as you discover for the first time today that you actually have beer at home ..... it gets even better, once found said beer can be drunk, and, yes I know its all getting very very exciting right now as you think of the many possibilities that beer@home, run in conjunction with seti@home, not only does the programme not stop looking for beer after beer is found, it actually searches for more beer. And not only that the chance that seti@home might find something out there after beer@home has found and verified beer at your home, actually increases, yes that right gets higher, I mean some of the things ive seen after finding beer would either totally blow your mind or cause your mind to explode.. what’s that ..."simply astonishing what we can do in this day and age you say" I agree totally, nay 100% with you
Why it would only take a minor retool or even a rather large one , and once done will not only compliment the seti@home project but actual fit in well with it.
I have taken the liberty of putting up a screenshot, from the trial version that I produced a while ago, but just didn’t know what to do with. Its here in my profile, for everyone, nay all to see right now, click it for a full view
So in conclusion beer and boobies!!!
