There HAS to be other life out there. I think we have already found it. We just don't know it. And maybe there are those who know it, but once that knowledge is there, perhaps it no longer feels important to share it. Life has alwasy been connected in some way. No matter the distance, our lives and intricately interwoven in a fabric that spans space in time. The only danger in discovering other life, is the destruction that our own fear may create unpon that discovery.
I think humans should send out a signal. But we ARE sending out a signal. Life paying attention should be able to pick it up. ;-) But if we set up a beacon, we should send MUSIC.
I run SETI at home because I find it interesting. My small contribution may not mean much, maybe, luck would have it that is does mean something. |
