I'm 16 and live in florida. I'm one of those peoples whose life revolves around computers. Currently I have no job. :( And my future career is being an MIS Director.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I think extreterrestrial life exists?? Well, I beleive their is some form of life out in the universe besides Earth. Now, little green men with antennas?? I highly doubt it.
I think humans should transmit a beacon for tother to find. Send informatin like, our explored part of te galaxy and some snipets of human DNA.
I run seti@home because I beleive we're not the only beings throughout millions and millions of lightyears. Now, if you beleive that we are all alone, then you're too cocky... :P My views about this project is great. I know personally I run the seti@home client on this computer 24/7.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
