Profile: Reid Morris

Personal background
I'm an Electronics Technician working at a High Frequency Transmitter Site in Hawaii. I retired from the US Navy after 22 years and seeing most of the World. I'm currently 55 years old, love to read, mess with my computer, watch Scifi Movies/TV and play golf on occasion. I'm deeply disappointed in the conduct of our elected officials so am looking forward to being abducted by aliens.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As in "Contact", if there was no life out there, it'd be a terrible waste of space. Now whether it looks like us (bipedal) or my relatives is another story, but well worth discovering. I'm hoping that for a civilization to develop space travel, that'd they'd have to be that, "Civilized" and not want to eat me or some other obnoxious thing. If we ever get beyond rockets and sublight speed, well, I'd kinda like to be reborn then and have a look around. This is a great begining (SETI) to discovering life out there.
