Personal background
There are few things in modern day living that you can be 100% sure of.
These are a few off the top of my head, which probably says more about me than i'd care to admit:-

1. Day follows night.
2. Rain will fall.
3. Prices will rise.
and 4. Life will always win over death.

I am, at preasent, unemployed. Most of my time is spent looking for work, with the remainder taken up by writing, composing & performing my own little piece of the universe. I'm the first to admit that i'm a 'hippy', which I see as a good thing. To have been able to help S.E.T.I, at the age of five, when i first remember looking up at the stars, would have been imposible, but with modern science, my dreams have come true. Being born just in time for the Apollo moon landing seems to have had a big impact on my life. I love to read about physics, espesially astrological, if i'm not reading about space, then i'm probably writing about it. Please feel free to contact me, if you have similar interests, any age, world-wide (I'm sorry but i can only speak English). Is there anybody out there? I hope so, it'd be really boring otherwise.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Does extraterrestrial life exist? I really hope so, even if the universe isn't infinite, it's still a very big place. I just hope we can recognise it as 'life' when we find it. Life comes in a lot of shapes and sizes, even on this planet, one can only begin to imagine what lies 'out there', waiting to be discovered.

I think it is our right, as a so called, intelligent spieces, to do all we can, to find out what ever we can. Voyager was a great idea, but i'm sure, that with modern technology we can expand upon the idea.

I run SETI@home, because i can. I only wish i'd gotten around to it quicker.

I learnt about the project from a banner in the ONLINE GAMING DIRECTORY website. Perhaps if spending allows, you could think of advertising on some of the specialised satalite channels, for instance, here in the UK, 'The Sci-fi channel' which is owned, i believe, by the Paramount Group. This would help make people more aware of the projects existence, targeting an audience group that is most likely to be interested, while keeping the cost down to a minimum.
While on the subject of The Sci-fi Channel, how about a small 10-15 min' program about the project, such shows are shown again & again between advertised programs to fill in time before the next 'slot', as it were.

You never know, mabey even the great 'BBC' would be interested, as part of there ongoing educational line of programming.

Sorry if i've gone on a bit, but you did ask!
