Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I do think there is et life out there more than once maybe theyre all doing the same thing we do to search. Maybe they are far superior and leave us alone as to not disturb us. I think we will make contact possibly within my lifetime. We could sharetechnology and information, discoveries cures for disease's if they are a primate like species. They could also be superior and try to rule the world not just like i scifimovies but like when sudam housane tried to rule i see no reason why et's should be any different tha him and try to rule if they have thechnology and weapons but this is highly doubted in my mind because of all the benefits which would mostlikely outweigh the dangers.
2. Yes i think we should because if we send all our time searching forsignals as do all the other intlligent life where would the gnals we ae wishing to recieve be transmittd from i think each station should be transmitting as wel as recieving.
3. I run seti@home in order to try and help seti since i cant donate a substantial amont of money tthe effort. I also had alot of my friends download seti@home and start using it. I hope we can find the signal some day.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
